This market refers to the StarCraft II match between HeRoMaRinE and Jumy in the HomeStory Cup XXIX Group A, initially scheduled for July 3 at 8:15AM ET. This market will resolve to "HeRoMaRinE" if HeRoMaRinE win the match against Jumy. This market will resolve to "Jumy" if Jumy win the match against HeRoMaRinE. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and extract a margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than traditional sports betting sites, depending on information flow and the depth of liquidity among participants. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest or where specialized knowledge may be pricing in an edge.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each contract represents a potential result—such as a specific map winner or series outcome—and the price of each share reflects the collective probability assigned by active traders. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, prices adjust in real time, allowing you to enter or exit positions at the prevailing market rate.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the actual performance during the best-of-three series, with each map and overall series winner confirmed through official tournament records and broadcast coverage. Resolution occurs after sufficient time has passed for results to be finalized and cross-checked against authoritative sources.
Key catalysts include recent tournament results and head-to-head records between the two players, which can shift trader confidence in either outcome. Map pool announcements and any roster or preparation updates may influence perceived matchup dynamics. Live commentary and early-series momentum during the event itself typically drive sharp price movements as traders react to in-game performance. Player form, historical map preferences, and community sentiment expressed through social channels can all contribute to significant repricing before the final result is locked in.
