Description

This market refers to the StarCraft II Semifinal 1 match between herO and Rogue in the Global StarCraft II League Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 7 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "herO" if herO win the match against Rogue. This market will resolve to "Rogue" if Rogue win the match against herO. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook odds because they reflect real-time crowd sentiment rather than fixed lines set by oddsmakers. Sportsbooks typically adjust for margin and risk management, while prediction markets aggregate thousands of independent traders betting with real money. For the herO vs Rogue matchup, comparing Polymarket prices to major esports sportsbooks can reveal whether the crowd is more or less confident than professional bookmakers. These differences often highlight where informed traders see value or where casual betting pressure has skewed traditional lines.

The market resolves on Jun 7, 2026 following the completion of the StarCraft II: herO vs Rogue (BO5) series in the Global StarCraft II League Playoffs. The outcome is determined by the official result of the best-of-five matchup as recorded by the GSL organizers and broadcast. Once the series concludes and the winner is confirmed, the market settles according to the predetermined resolution criteria, and traders' positions are finalized based on which outcome occurred.

Several factors could shift market prices before Jun 7, 2026. Recent tournament results, player form, and head-to-head records between herO and Rogue influence trader confidence. Map pool announcements and vetoes can significantly impact odds, as certain players excel on specific maps. Injury reports, roster changes, or unexpected roster substitutions would trigger sharp repricing. Pre-series interviews, coaching staff updates, or public statements from either player may sway sentiment. Live trading during the series itself will cause continuous price movement as each map result unfolds, with the series score heavily influencing probabilities for remaining maps.
