Description

This market will resolve to "Fjant" if Fjant win the match against LetaleX. This market will resolve to "LetaleX" if LetaleX win the match against Fjant. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Fjant vs LetaleX HomeStory Cup match tracks real-time odds and price movements across outcome contracts tied to this esports matchup. Traders buy and sell shares representing different results—such as individual map winners or the overall series outcome—and the platform aggregates these trades to display current implied probabilities. The interface shows order-book depth, historical price charts, and trading volume to help participants monitor market sentiment as the event approaches.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and extract a margin, while prediction markets like this one price outcomes through open trading among participants with real capital at stake. Esports markets on prediction platforms may show sharper or more volatile pricing than mainstream sportsbooks, especially for niche events, since the trader pool is specialized and motivated by accuracy rather than volume.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker and order-book mechanism where traders directly buy and sell outcome shares. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects strong conviction among participants, with pricing updated continuously as new trades execute. Liquidity and spreads depend on total volume and the distribution of positions across available outcomes, so prices can shift rapidly in response to new information or large trades.

This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources covering professional esports. The outcome is determined by the actual match result as reported by HomeStory Cup organizers and confirmed through established esports news outlets. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the event's completion, allowing traders to settle positions based on the verified final score or series winner.

Key catalysts include player roster announcements, recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and any roster or coaching changes affecting either competitor. Pre-match interviews, practice results, or community sentiment shifts can also influence trader positioning. Technical factors like map selection, patch updates to the game, or unexpected player absences may trigger repricing. Additionally, early match results—if this is a best-of-three—will significantly impact odds for subsequent maps and the overall series outcome.
