This market refers to the StarCraft II match between Clem and Arrogfire in the HomeStory Cup XXIX Group B, initially scheduled for July 3 at 3:45PM ET. This market will resolve to "Clem" if Clem win the match against Arrogfire. This market will resolve to "Arrogfire" if Arrogfire win the match against Clem. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and extract a margin, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital. For esports matchups like this one, sportsbook coverage may be limited or absent, making prediction markets a primary source of crowd-sourced probability estimates. Comparing the two can reveal where informed traders see value relative to conventional betting lines.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on buy and sell volume. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome—such as the map-one winner or overall match victor—is represented as a contract trading between 0 and 1, where the price reflects the crowd's consensus probability. As traders place orders, the market depth and recent trades shift the implied odds, creating a dynamic price discovery process that reflects real-time sentiment about the matchup.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the HomeStory Cup Group B matches conclude and results are finalized. The outcome is verified against credible public sources covering the tournament, ensuring accuracy before settlement. Traders should monitor official tournament broadcasts and announcements to track when the event concludes and the market's resolution window opens.
Key catalysts include recent tournament results and player performance trends leading up to the match, roster changes or player substitutions, map pool announcements and strategic meta shifts, and any official statements about player health or participation status. Live match broadcasts can trigger sharp price movements as traders react to map outcomes and in-game momentum. Community analysis, expert commentary, and betting activity from informed esports observers may also influence odds as the event date approaches and new information surfaces.
