This market refers to the StarCraft II match between BabyMarine and Mixu in the HomeStory Cup XXIX Group D, initially scheduled for July 4 at 2:45PM ET. This market will resolve to "BabyMarine" if BabyMarine win the match against Mixu. This market will resolve to "Mixu" if Mixu win the match against BabyMarine. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price esports events differently. Sportsbooks rely on oddsmakers and betting limits, while this market is priced by traders responding to real-time information and consensus. Prediction markets often reflect sharper, crowd-sourced probability estimates because participants have direct financial incentive to identify mispricing. For StarCraft II matches, prediction market odds may diverge from sportsbook lines depending on liquidity, trader expertise, and how quickly each venue incorporates new roster or performance data.
This market resolves around Jul 5, 2026, once the HomeStory Cup Group D match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official tournament broadcast and confirmed records. Positions held until resolution will be settled based on which player wins the best-of-three series or individual map winners, depending on the specific outcome you backed.
Market prices may shift based on recent tournament performance, player form, map pool announcements, and community commentary leading up to the match. Roster changes, coaching updates, or public statements from either competitor can influence trader sentiment. Live broadcast developments—such as early map results or unexpected play styles—will drive sharp repricing as the series unfolds. Pre-match interviews and analyst predictions may also prompt position adjustments as new information reaches the trading community.
