Closed: Oct 23, 4:45 PM EST
Predict
In the upcoming Ligue 1 game between Stade Brestois 29 and OGC Nice, scheduled for October 23, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Stade Brestois 29 vs. OGC Nice match originally scheduled for October 23, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market represents the aggregated beliefs of individual traders. It’s common to see discrepancies, particularly when there's strong public sentiment or information asymmetry. Comparing the probabilities implied by this market to those offered by sportsbooks can reveal where the crowd disagrees with professional oddsmakers, potentially identifying value opportunities.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of traders about the likelihood of that outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy contracts for a specific score, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing mechanism aims to create a real-time probability assessment of the final result.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official exact score of the Stade Brestois 29 vs. OGC Nice match will be used to determine the winning contract. The resolution will be based on the official match result as reported by a trusted sports data source. Traders holding the contract corresponding to the correct exact score will be paid out according to the market’s pricing at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in starting lineups would likely have a significant impact. Unexpected weather conditions at the stadium could also shift expectations. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from reputable sports commentators or analysts, if it deviates from the current market consensus, could trigger trading activity. Finally, even significant shifts in public sentiment, perhaps driven by social media discussions, could cause the odds to move before Oct 23, 2026.
