The market resolves based on the relative number of runs scored by each team specifically during the 8th inning of the designated game. If St. Louis scores more runs in that inning, the 'St. Louis wins 8th inning' market resolves to Yes. If Pittsburgh scores more runs, the 'Pittsburgh wins 8th inning' market resolves to Yes. If both teams score the same number of runs, or if neither team scores any runs, the 'Tie 8th inning' market resolves to Yes. In all cases, only runs scored during the 8th inning are considered; any runs scored before or after this inning are irrelevant. Should the game be called or otherwise end before the completion of the 8th inning, all markets resolve to a Fair Price. The outcome is strictly determined by the runs scored during that single inning, irrespective of the overall game result.
