The ninth inning is often decisive in baseball, where teams push for runs to either secure a lead or come back from behind. This market examines whether the combined efforts of both teams result in more than half a run during this critical final inning.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on the total runs scored by both teams in the ninth inning of the specified baseball game. If the combined runs exceed 0.5, the 'Over 0.5 runs' market is settled as Yes; if not, it is No. A separate market for 'Over 1.5 runs' applies similarly, requiring more than one and a half runs collectively. If the game is called early and the ninth inning is incomplete, the market resolves to a Fair Price. The resolution depends solely on runs scored in the ninth inning, regardless of whether the home team bats in the bottom half, unless the inning is incomplete due to an early game cancellation.
