Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own analysis and information. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook is mispricing the event. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities of an outcome, and differences can arise due to varying factors and information available to each.
