Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All markets across Polymarket and Kalshi share identical resolution logic: they reference the official final score from legaseriea.it, apply to 90 minutes plus stoppage time only, resolve 50-50 if the game is canceled entirely, and remain open if postponed until completion.
Primary resolution logic:
Official final score published on legaseriea.it (Lega Serie A official statistics)
Core resolution logic:
All markets resolve based on the official final score from legaseriea.it within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only.
Spread markets (Napoli -2.5, Napoli -1.5, Lazio -1.5, Lazio -2.5) resolve YES if the named team wins by the specified goal margin or greater; otherwise resolve NO.
Over/Under markets (1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5) resolve YES if combined goals meet or exceed the threshold; otherwise resolve NO.
Both Teams to Score resolves YES if both teams score at least one goal each; otherwise resolves NO.
First Half markets (Kalshi) resolve YES if the specified outcome (Tie, Napoli win, or Lazio win) occurs after 45 minutes plus stoppage time.
If the game is postponed, all markets remain open until completion. If canceled entirely with no make-up game, all markets resolve 50-50.
If the game starts but is not completed, resolution uses the official final score from legaseriea.it; if unavailable within 2 hours of conclusion, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Game Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the game is completed and the official final score is published.
Game Cancellation: If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, all markets in the group resolve 50-50 (split pool equally between YES and NO outcomes).
Incomplete Match: If the game starts but is not completed (e.g., abandoned), resolution is based on the official final score from legaseriea.it. If that is unavailable within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting sources may be used instead.
Scope Limitation: All markets apply only to the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shootouts (if applicable) are excluded from resolution.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon publication of the official final score on legaseriea.it, or within 2 hours after the event's conclusion if official statistics are unavailable and credible reporting consensus is used instead.
