If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders' beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities and are subject to change based on new information or shifts in sentiment.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact first-half scores. The price of each share reflects the market's current assessment of the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective intelligence of the crowd. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means the price is determined by supply and demand within the market itself, and can fluctuate rapidly based on news, analysis, or even just changes in overall market sentiment surrounding the Napoli vs Bologna match.
This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the final score at the end of the first half of the SSC Napoli versus Bologna FC 1909 match will determine the winning share in this market. The resolution will be based on the official result reported by a trusted sports data provider, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for all traders. Any disputes will be handled according to Polymarket’s standard procedures.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Napoli or Bologna would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in weather conditions could also influence the game's dynamics and, consequently, the market. Furthermore, any significant pre-match analysis from reputable sports commentators or analysts could sway trader sentiment. Finally, even large trading volume itself can create momentum and drive price movements in this market as traders react to each other's actions.
