On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary due to differences in user base, liquidity, and how each platform handles trading fees. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one venue might attract more sharp traders who focus on statistical edges, while the other could see broader public interest that skews toward popular or dramatic scorelines. These dynamics often produce divergent implied probabilities for the same outcome.
