Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Kalshi and Polymarket resolve based on the official outcome of the Sporting Kansas City vs. Colorado Rapids SC match on March 21, 2026, within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, using official MLS statistics as the primary source.
Primary resolution logic:
Official MLS Soccer statistics (mlssoccer.com) and governing body records
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves YES if Sporting Kansas City wins within 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES if Colorado Rapids SC wins within 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES if the match ends in a draw within 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Exactly one of the three outcomes (Kansas City win, Colorado win, or draw) will resolve YES; the other two resolve NO.
Extra time and penalties are excluded from resolution scope.
If the game is postponed, markets remain open until completion.
If the game is canceled with no make-up, the draw market resolves YES and the win markets resolve NO.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Game Postponement: If the match is postponed, both platforms keep markets open until the game is completed and official statistics are published.
Game Cancellation: If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up match scheduled, the draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO.
Delayed Official Statistics: If official MLS statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution may use consensus of credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of final match statistics by MLS or the governing body, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
