Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi apply identical resolution logic: the match outcome is determined by the result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with the same postponement and cancellation rules, and both reference official governing body statistics as the primary source.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from Liga Portugal (ligaportugal.pt) as recognized by the governing body; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves YES for Sporting CP win if Sporting CP scores more goals than Sport Lisboa e Benfica after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES for Sport Lisboa e Benfica win if Sport Lisboa e Benfica scores more goals than Sporting CP after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES for draw if both teams have equal goals after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Exactly one of the three outcomes will resolve YES; the other two resolve NO.
Extra time and penalties are excluded from resolution scope.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the game is completed and the final result is determined.
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, the Sporting CP win and Benfica win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Resolution Source Delay: If official Liga Portugal statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution may proceed using consensus from credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result by Liga Portugal, typically within 2 hours of match conclusion.
