This group forecasts whether a specific number of total goals will be scored in the Sporting CP vs Galatasaray Champions League match. The markets ask whether the total goals will exceed various thresholds (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, etc.).
The event evaluates multiple thresholds for total goals scored during the Sporting CP versus Galatasaray Champions League match scheduled for September 9, 2026. Each market resolves to 'Yes' if the combined goals exceed a specified half-goal increment ranging from 0.5 to 5.5, counted only after 90 minutes plus stoppage time and excluding extra time or penalty kicks. All markets are independent, meaning each threshold is assessed separately. Kalshi disclaims any official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
This market will resolve to "YES" if the combined total number of goals scored by Sporting CP and Galatasaray is 3 or higher during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only) in the UEFA Champions League match scheduled for September 9, 2026, 19:00 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "50-50." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds, like those found on Kalshi and Limitless, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment diverges from expert analysis. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information and potentially offer more accurate probabilities as the event approaches. Examining both sets of odds can provide a more comprehensive view of the likely outcome.
