This prediction market asks users to predict which team, Sportfreunde Siegen 1899 or Borussia Monchengladbach, will score the first goal in their upcoming match on September 24, 2026. A third outcome, 'Neither', is available if no goal is scored by either team. The markets specify a hierarchy of data sources for resolution.
In the upcoming match between Sportfreunde Siegen 1899 and Borussia Monchengladbach, scheduled for September 24, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Sportfreunde Siegen 1899" if Sportfreunde Siegen 1899 are the first to score in the match (regardless of format). This market will resolve to "Borussia Monchengladbach" if Borussia Monchengladbach are the first to score in the match (regardless of format). If neither team scores in the match (regardless of format), this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market considers goals scored at any point in the match, regardless of format (e.g. two halves totaling 90 minutes plus stoppage time, or four periods totaling 120 minutes). The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, such as those found for this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the wisdom of the crowd and the incentive structure. Sportsbooks set odds to ensure profitability, incorporating a margin, while prediction markets allow traders to directly express their beliefs. This can lead to more accurate probabilities, especially as more information becomes available. While sportsbooks may initially reflect public perception, prediction markets tend to converge on a more refined estimate as traders hedge their positions and new data emerges. The volume of $0 in this market suggests active participation and potentially insightful pricing.
