Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the probability of each outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing a particular result, the odds on Kalshi may move in the opposite direction. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when new information emerges or public sentiment shifts regarding the teams.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book, where traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of each outcome. The price of a contract directly reflects the market’s assessment of that outcome’s likelihood. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates what traders are collectively willing to pay for a contract that pays out if their predicted outcome occurs, making it a real-time gauge of expectations for the match.
This market resolves around Sep 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be based on the regulation time moneyline – meaning the winner of the match excluding any extra time or penalty shootouts. The official result declared by the governing football league will be used to determine the winning outcome for this market. Traders will be able to see the final result and any payouts on Kalshi following the match’s completion.

A surprising result in a related match involving either team could also cause the market to react.
