Total corners markets for the FIFA World Cup game between Spain and Argentina, scheduled for July 19 at 3:00 PM ET.
The event consists of six separate markets tracking corner kick thresholds for both Spain and Argentina during their FIFA World Cup match on July 19, 2026. Spain's outcomes measure whether the team records at least 5, 7, or 9 corners during the entire game including regulation time, stoppage time, and any extra time periods. Argentina's outcomes measure whether the team records at least 4, 6, or 8 corners under the same conditions. Each market resolves to Yes if the specified team meets or exceeds its respective corner threshold. If the match is cancelled or rescheduled to more than two weeks away, all markets resolve to a fair price in accordance with standard procedures.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price odds differently because they use distinct mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines based on statistical models and manage risk through margin; prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs directly, with prices reflecting real-time supply and demand. Prediction market odds often reflect sharper, more dynamic pricing because traders have skin in the game and can adjust positions instantly. For corners markets, prediction platforms may move faster than sportsbooks when new team lineups or tactical information emerges, though both should converge toward fair value as kickoff approaches.
Team lineups and tactical announcements can shift corner expectations significantly—defensive formations tend to yield fewer corners, while attacking setups generate more. Referee assignments matter too, as different officials have varying standards for awarding corners. Injury news affecting key players, weather conditions on match day, and recent form trends all influence trader positioning. Live action during the first half provides real-time data that can reprrice second-half outcomes, so early corner frequency often drives late-market movement. Monitor pre-match press conferences and official team news for catalysts.
