Prediction market odds on Limitless reflect aggregated trader belief about which team will play more matches, whereas traditional sportsbooks typically focus on match outcomes and tournament advancement rather than total match volume. Sportsbooks price individual game results and advancement odds; prediction markets price the cumulative outcome directly. Comparing the two requires translating sportsbook advancement probabilities into expected match counts—a more complex inference. Prediction markets often respond faster to breaking news, injuries, or bracket developments, while sportsbooks adjust based on betting volume and risk management.
The market resolves on Jul 20, 2026. Resolution is determined by the final official match count for each team across all tournament stages in which they participate. The outcome depends on how far each team advances and how many matches they play before elimination or tournament conclusion. Teams that advance further naturally play more matches; the winner is whichever team's final match total is higher. Resolution uses official tournament records published by the governing body.
Key catalysts include group-stage results that determine advancement odds for each team, injuries to star players that affect tournament prospects, and bracket announcements that reveal knockout-stage pairings. Early exits by either team would immediately resolve the outcome in favor of the other. Momentum shifts—such as dominant performances or surprising defeats—alter trader expectations about depth-of-run and total matches played. Media narratives around team form, coaching changes, or tactical adjustments also influence market pricing as traders reassess each team's likelihood of progressing through successive rounds.
