The market resolves on Jun 22, 2026, which corresponds to the end of the Spain versus Saudi Arabia match. Resolution is determined by the total number of yellow and red cards issued to both teams combined during regulation and any added time. The outcome resolves YES if four or more cards are shown; it resolves NO if fewer than four cards are issued. Card counts are verified through official match records and governing body documentation. Early dismissals, accumulating cautions, and referee enforcement all influence the final tally that determines this market's outcome.
Key catalysts include team lineup announcements, which reveal whether aggressive or disciplined players are starting. Referee assignment can significantly shift card expectations, as different officials have varying enforcement styles. Pre-match news about injuries, suspensions, or tactical instructions may alter how aggressively each team plays. Early cards issued during the match will directly move the probability as the threshold becomes closer or more distant. Match momentum, scoreline pressure, and tactical fouls late in the game all influence card accumulation. Weather conditions and pitch quality may also affect play intensity and referee tolerance for physical contact.
