These markets evaluate how many points are scored in the final quarter of a college football game between South Carolina and Alabama. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined during that specific period.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) of the South Carolina vs Alabama college football game scheduled for September 26, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold: if the combined score exceeds that threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. For all markets, only points scored during the 4th quarter count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, trading remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts that pay out $1 per contract if the outcome matches their prediction, and $0 otherwise. The price of these contracts reflects the market’s collective probability assessment of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand – if more people believe the total 4th quarter points will be high, the price of contracts predicting a higher score will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final total points scored in the 4th quarter of the South Carolina vs Alabama game will be used to determine which contracts pay out. All contracts will be settled based on this publicly available data. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and objective, ensuring a fair outcome for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence trading activity and move this market before resolution. Key injuries to star players on either the South Carolina or Alabama team would likely have a significant impact, as would any late-breaking news regarding weather conditions that might affect the scoring pace. Changes in public perception, perhaps driven by expert analysis or updated statistical models, could also shift the market. Finally, large trades by individual participants on Kalshi could temporarily influence the price, though the market generally self-corrects as more information becomes available.
