These markets track how many points are scored in the final quarter of a college football game between South Alabama and Kentucky. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined in that quarter.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) of the South Alabama vs Kentucky college football game scheduled for September 26, 2026. A 'Yes' outcome occurs if the combined score exceeds the specified threshold for each market. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored during the 4th quarter count, and Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set their odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market incorporates the collective beliefs of many traders. As more information becomes available—such as injury reports or weather forecasts—and as the event draws nearer, you may see the prices on Kalshi converge or diverge from traditional sportsbook offerings. It's common to find that prediction markets are more accurate than traditional forecasts, especially closer to the event's start.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the 4th quarter total in the South Alabama vs Kentucky game. The price of a contract ranges from 0 to 100, representing the probability of the 'yes' outcome (the total points will be over the implied line). On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to provide accurate predictions, as profitable traders are rewarded and those with inaccurate predictions may incur losses. The current price reflects the aggregated expectations of all participants in this market.
This market resolves around Sep 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the 4th quarter of the South Alabama vs Kentucky game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official game statistics as reported by a recognized sports data provider. The market will determine whether the total points scored in the 4th quarter fall above or below the implied line represented by the contract price at the time of closure. No further action is required from traders once the event concludes.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Sep 26, 2026. Key injuries to star players on either the South Alabama or Kentucky teams would likely cause significant shifts in predictions. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to impact scoring, could also move the market. Late-breaking news regarding team strategies or coaching decisions might also affect trader sentiment. Finally, large volume trades on Kalshi themselves can create momentum and drive price fluctuations as traders react to new information or attempt to capitalize on perceived opportunities.
