This market refers to the cricket match between Zimbabwe Women and South Africa Women scheduled for September 13 2026 at 7:30 AM ET in South Africa Women Tour of Zimbabwe T20s. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action, while this market aggregates diverse opinions. If a significant discrepancy exists between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither guarantees the actual outcome. Examining these differences can offer valuable insights into where perceived value lies.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates the market’s assessment of the likelihood of the event happening, and fluctuations in price demonstrate changing sentiment. The market is driven entirely by supply and demand among traders on Polymarket.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results of the South Africa vs Zimbabwe T20 series. The market will determine which outcome has the highest probability based on the series results. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will be paid out according to the final share price at resolution. It's important to monitor the event closely as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather conditions impacting the matches could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected performance from key players during the series, or surprising tactical decisions by the teams, could also lead to price movements. Furthermore, significant betting activity or large trades on Polymarket could indicate shifts in market sentiment and cause the price to fluctuate. Staying informed about these potential catalysts is crucial for understanding how this market might evolve.
