Frequently asked questions

On Limitless, the South Africa vs Canada goal-margin market dashboard tracks real-time odds and trading activity for this binary outcome: whether South Africa will defeat Canada by a margin of two or more goals. The interface displays current market pricing, historical price movements, and trading volume to help you monitor how traders are positioning ahead of the match. This dashboard gives you a live window into how the prediction market is valuing the likelihood of a decisive South African victory across the full trading period.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. For this matchup, comparing this market's pricing to major sportsbooks can reveal whether traders expect a wider goal margin than traditional oddsmakers suggest. Such gaps sometimes signal where informed traders see value relative to conventional betting lines.

On Limitless, traders set the price of this market through continuous order-book matching, where buy and sell orders determine the real-time probability of South Africa winning by two or more goals. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price reflects the consensus of all active traders at any given moment, updating instantly as new trades execute. This mechanism ensures that pricing remains responsive to new information and shifts in trader sentiment as the match approaches.

This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, once the South Africa vs Canada match concludes and the final goal margin is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by whether South Africa's winning margin equals or exceeds two goals. If South Africa wins by exactly two or more, the affirmative outcome resolves to yes; any other result—including a South African win by one goal, a draw, or a Canadian victory—resolves to no.

Several factors could shift this market's pricing before resolution. Team news—such as injuries to key players, lineup changes, or tactical announcements—often triggers sharp moves. Recent form, head-to-head history, and venue conditions can also influence trader positioning. Closer to kickoff, betting syndicates and sharp money may flow in, reflecting professional assessments of the goal-margin likelihood. Live match developments, including early goals or red cards, will drive the most dramatic repricing as traders update their expectations in real time.
