Prediction market odds in this market often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines due to different participant dynamics and information inputs. While sportsbooks may set prices based on broader public betting patterns and adjusted margins, prediction markets reflect the aggregated views of informed traders who can react quickly to new data. This can lead to sharper or more volatile pricing, especially as fight-specific news emerges.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders determine prices through active buying and selling of contracts representing each fighter’s chances.
