On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the aggregated sentiment. Higher demand for shares in a particular outcome will drive up its price, while increased selling pressure will lower it. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date expectations.
This market resolves around Sep 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Skachenko vs. Abalmaz match as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual event outcome. Traders who correctly predicted the result will be entitled to a payout based on the final share price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in training regimens, or even weather conditions could shift traders' expectations. Significant media coverage or public endorsements could also play a role. Unexpected announcements related to the match schedule or venue could also cause fluctuations.
