On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the cumulative bets placed on it; as more traders back one team to score first, that outcome's price rises, and the competing outcome falls. Prices update continuously throughout the trading window, allowing real-time discovery of the market's consensus probability for each team.
This market resolves around Jul 25, 2026, once the match concludes and the first goal is verified. The outcome is determined by which team scores the opening goal, confirmed against credible public reporting of the match result. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. Resolution timing depends on official match completion and result confirmation.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before resolution. Team news—such as injuries to key strikers, lineup announcements, or tactical changes—often triggers sharp price moves. Historical head-to-head records and recent form updates influence trader confidence in each team's attacking threat. Weather conditions on match day and venue-specific factors may also sway probabilities. As the kickoff approaches, late-breaking team information and live betting sentiment can cause rapid repricing of the outcome odds.
