On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds often diverge due to different participant motivations and information sources. Traders may price in nuanced factors beyond win probability, such as match context or player form. Sportsbook odds incorporate broader public betting patterns and house margins. This can lead to variations between the two pricing models, especially as new information emerges before Aug 24, 2026.
