Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on their own models and to balance betting action, while this market reflects the wisdom of the crowd. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook’s odds are inaccurate, you may see the probabilities on Polymarket diverge. It’s not uncommon to find discrepancies, especially in events where public perception differs from expert analysis. Comparing these odds can be a useful exercise for anyone looking to gain an edge.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the price adjusts to reflect the collective intelligence of the market. The more shares bought for a particular outcome, the higher its price, and therefore, the greater the implied probability. This creates a dynamic and real-time assessment of the match's potential results.
This market resolves around Sep 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Andreeva vs Sasnovich match as reported by a recognized tennis authority. The platform will then determine the winning outcome based on the official results, and shares will be settled accordingly. This ensures a transparent and verifiable resolution process for all participants in this market.
