On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each fighter winning. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the market price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. The more shares purchased for a particular fighter, the higher the price rises, indicating increased confidence in their victory. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Sep 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The determination will be based on the official result of the Shyshman vs. Ovsiienko fight, as declared by the relevant boxing authorities. The fighter declared the winner by the official decision will be the resolving outcome for this market. Any disputes or challenges to the official result will be considered according to Polymarket’s guidelines, but the initial official announcement will serve as the primary basis for resolution.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. News regarding fighter injuries, changes in training regimens, or even pre-fight press conference statements could all shift sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the fight's location or rules could also impact probabilities. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, may also play a role, though the market ultimately reflects the views of traders on Polymarket. Any significant development related to the fighters or the event itself has the potential to move this market before it resolves.
