Shintaro Mochizuki and Ethan Quinn will play a professional tennis match at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 64. The game differential in favor of Ethan Quinn across the full match will determine the outcome.
Resolution is based on the game differential in favor of Ethan Quinn across the full match at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 64. If the match does not occur due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation before play begins, the market resolves to a fair price. Postponements or delays do not close the market; it remains open until the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot be settled resolve to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction markets and sportsbooks price games differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set spreads to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets reflect aggregated trader beliefs about the actual outcome. This market may show a different spread than traditional sportsbooks because traders are directly risking capital on their conviction, often incorporating real-time information and sharp analysis that sportsbooks adjust for more slowly.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each possible outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective probability assigned by active traders; higher prices indicate stronger conviction that outcome will occur. As new information emerges or trading interest shifts, prices adjust dynamically, allowing you to enter or exit positions at market rates determined entirely by supply and demand.
This market resolves around Jul 1, 2026, once the game concludes and the final score is verified. The outcome is determined by the actual point spread between the two teams at the end of regulation play. Resolution occurs after credible public sources confirm the final result, at which point shares are settled according to whether the spread fell within or outside the specified range.
Key catalysts include injury announcements, roster changes, recent team performance trends, and betting-market shifts at major sportsbooks. Unexpected coaching decisions, weather conditions on game day, and late-breaking news about player availability can all shift trader conviction. Additionally, sharp money flowing into or out of the market often signals informed positioning, prompting other traders to adjust their bids and asks, which can create significant price movement leading up to tipoff.
