This market refers to the cricket match between Mohali Kings and Bathinda Royals scheduled for September 9 2026 in Sher-E-Punjab T20. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. This market, like others, can reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially incorporating information not fully captured by sportsbook algorithms. While sportsbooks primarily rely on statistical models and expert analysis, this market benefits from the insights of many individuals actively trading and updating their beliefs as new information becomes available. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, risk assessments, and the influence of public sentiment.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a specific outcome. The price of each share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the aggregated predictions of all participants, creating a real-time forecast for the Sher-E-Punjab T20 match.
This market resolves around Sep 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Sher-E-Punjab T20 match between Mohali Kings and Bathinda Royals. The platform will verify the winner of the match against publicly available sources to determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts accordingly. Traders should monitor official announcements to stay informed about the resolution process.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected announcements about team strategies or performance analysis from sports commentators could also trigger market movements. Furthermore, large trading volumes from influential participants or shifts in public sentiment could create momentum and drive price fluctuations in this market as the match approaches.
