This market refers to the cricket match between Ludhiana Lions and Jalandhar Warriors scheduled for September 10 2026 in Sher-E-Punjab T20. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the probability of each outcome. If sportsbooks initially favor one team, but traders in this market believe the other team has a higher chance of winning, the odds here will adjust accordingly. It's common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges and the event draws closer.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are traded, the price of those shares adjusts, reflecting the collective prediction of the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share can be interpreted as the probability of that outcome occurring; for example, a share priced at 60 means there's a 60% implied probability of that outcome. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information and sentiment.
This market resolves around Sep 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Sher-E-Punjab T20 match between the Ludhiana Lions and Jalandhar Warriors. The winning team, as declared by the tournament organizers, will determine the settlement of this market. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their positions based on the final result.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and price movement in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team strategies or performance analyses from sports commentators could also play a role. Furthermore, large trading volumes from informed participants or shifts in public opinion could quickly move the odds, so monitoring the market closely is key to understanding these potential catalysts.
