The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect the actual probability distribution as assessed by traders, not just a single over/under or spread. While sportsbooks may offer a handful of popular scorelines or a point spread, this market lets participants bet on any exact result, creating a richer, more granular view of expected outcomes. Traders can react to new information faster than sportsbook adjustments, potentially creating sharper or more volatile prices.
This market resolves around Aug 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score verified at the end of the match determines the winning outcome, and traders’ positions are settled automatically based on that official result. No additional interpretation or external data sources beyond widely accepted public records are required for resolution.
Injuries, weather updates, tactical changes, or recent form for either team can shift trader sentiment and move prices in this market. Key moments like managerial statements, transfer rumors affecting squad depth, or even early match events once kickoff approaches may cause rapid adjustments. As the match nears, any information that changes the perceived likelihood of specific scorelines — such as a star player being benched — can lead to sharp price swings on Polymarket.
