Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially as an event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, whereas this market relies on individuals incentivized to predict correctly. However, initial sportsbook lines can sometimes offer value before the prediction market fully incorporates all available information. It’s worth comparing both to identify discrepancies and potential advantages when considering where to place your bets.
