On Polymarket, this market is priced through trader-driven liquidity pools, while Kalshi may use different fee structures or participant bases. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. This often leads to variance in implied probabilities, especially when one platform has deeper volume or more active participants. Currently, Polymarket and Kalshi show distinct leading outcomes, which can amplify price gaps until consensus emerges closer to the event.
