Two professional League of Legends teams, Sentinels and Shopify Rebellion, will compete in a match on September 18, 2026. The outcome depends on which team secures victory on the third map of the match, determining the winner of that specific map.
The market resolves to Yes for the respective team if they win map 3 of the LCS 2026 match between Sentinels and Shopify Rebellion scheduled for September 18, 2026, at 4:00 PM EDT. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours, cancelled, or forfeited before play begins, the market resolves to the fair market price. If a map begins and is later forfeited, resolution follows the official result from the governing body. Kalshi is not affiliated with the League, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which can be influenced by factors like house bias or promotional offers. Sportsbooks may initially set lines to balance betting action, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each team winning Map 3. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, analytical approaches, or simply variations in opinion among bettors and traders. It is important to consider both when forming your own assessment.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing potential outcomes. The price of a contract reflects the market’s implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective assessment of the event's likelihood. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to incorporate new information and changing perspectives as the event approaches, providing a real-time assessment of expectations.
This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of Map 3 in the Sentinels vs. Shopify Rebellion match. The platform will verify the result against publicly available sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual event result. Traders holding contracts on the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for Sentinels or Shopify Rebellion could shift trader sentiment. In-game performance during earlier maps in the series, or even pre-match analyst opinions, may also cause fluctuations. Unexpected technical issues or controversies during the match itself could also lead to significant price movement. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of each team’s chances of winning Map 3 has the potential to move this market.
