Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Added vs Bax boxing match displays real-time odds and price movements as traders buy and sell shares tied to the fight's outcome. You can monitor the current implied probability for each fighter, review the 24-hour volume of $10,758, and track the full price history leading up to the event. The interface lets you see how market sentiment shifts in response to news, training updates, or other developments affecting either competitor's perceived chances of victory.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders wagering real capital on their beliefs about the outcome. Over time, prediction markets can reveal consensus expectations that differ from traditional betting lines, especially when new information emerges or when one venue attracts more sophisticated participants than the other. Comparing the two can highlight where the broader market sees value.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds continuously as traders place orders. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome share reflects the cumulative bets placed on it; as more capital flows toward one fighter, that outcome's price rises and the implied probability updates in real time. This mechanism ensures liquidity and allows you to enter or exit positions without waiting for a counterparty, though large trades may move the price noticeably.

This market resolves around Jul 27, 2026, once the boxing match concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official fight result—whether it ends by knockout, decision, or other recognized conclusion. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information and expectations shift the odds.

Several developments could shift the odds significantly before the fight takes place. Training footage, injury reports, or statements from either fighter's camp can reshape expectations about their readiness and performance level. Media coverage, expert analysis, and public sentiment on social platforms often influence trader behavior. Weigh-in results, last-minute rule changes, or venue conditions may also trigger repricing. Additionally, if one fighter gains or loses notable public endorsements or if betting syndicates adjust their positions, the market can swing sharply as new capital enters or exits.
