The markets resolve based on the exact score after 90 minutes of regular play plus any stoppage time, with no consideration for extra time or penalty shootouts. All markets are mutually exclusive, meaning only one can resolve to 'Yes' depending on the actual result.
Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect trader sentiment and can adjust faster to new information. While sportsbooks may offer fixed odds based on broader analysis, prediction markets price in real-time based on actual trading activity. This can lead to sharper or more volatile pricing, particularly when unexpected news or injuries emerge before the match.
Injuries, weather conditions, or strategic changes announced by either team could shift this market significantly. Key moments like star player availability or tactical announcements often cause rapid re-pricing. Additionally, early betting trends on either Polymarket or Kalshi can create momentum, especially if one platform sees a surge in volume around a particular scoreline, influencing overall sentiment as the match nears.
