Scotland and New Zealand compete in a Women's T20 World Cup cricket match scheduled for June 23, 2026. These markets track whether each team's total runs scored will exceed specific thresholds during the match.
Resolution is based on the actual runs scored by each team in the Scotland vs New Zealand Women's T20 World Cup match scheduled for June 23, 2026 at 5:30 AM EDT. If the match is cancelled before play begins or delayed more than 48 hours from its scheduled start, all markets resolve to fair market price as determined by the Exchange. If play begins but no official result is declared (including via DLS method), markets resolve to fair market price, except for statistics already definitively achieved, which resolve on recorded results. If the match is shortened but an official result is declared through ICC-approved methods such as DLS, statistical markets resolve based on actual recorded statistics only, without projections or adjustments.
Prediction market odds on this market reflect real-time consensus from traders rather than fixed lines set by oddsmakers. Sportsbooks typically adjust their odds more slowly and apply wider margins, whereas prediction markets like this one update continuously as new information emerges. Comparing the two can reveal where traders see value relative to traditional sportsbook pricing, though prediction markets often converge toward consensus faster during live events. Both reflect probability, but the mechanisms and speed of adjustment differ significantly.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different run-total outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each contract reflects the collective belief of market participants about the likelihood of that outcome. As new data arrives—team form, weather, injury updates—traders adjust their bids and asks, causing prices to move. The current odds are visible in real time, allowing you to enter or exit positions at transparent, continuously updated rates.
This market resolves around Jun 23, 2026, once the Scotland vs New Zealand match concludes and the final run totals are verified. The outcome is determined by comparing the actual runs scored by each team against the specified threshold in the market. Resolution occurs after credible public reporting confirms the official match result, ensuring all traders have access to the same verified information. Until that point, prices may fluctuate based on live match developments and trader sentiment.
Key catalysts include team lineup announcements, weather forecasts affecting playing conditions, and coin-toss outcomes that determine batting order. Early match performance—wickets lost, runs scored in the first few overs—typically drives the largest price swings, as traders update their models based on live data. Injury news or last-minute squad changes can also shift odds significantly. As the match progresses, actual run rate and remaining overs become the dominant drivers, with this market becoming increasingly sensitive to real-time scoring.
