Only goals scored after halftime count toward this event. The market resolves Yes if Scotland scores more than 1.5 goals ahead of Morocco, or if Morocco scores more than 1.5 goals ahead of Scotland. If the match is cancelled or rescheduled to more than two weeks away, the market will resolve to a fair price in accordance with standard rules.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-money commitments from traders rather than expert opinion alone. On this market, the odds incorporate live information, team news, and betting patterns that analysts may not weight equally. While sports analysts typically rely on historical performance and statistical models, traders here are incentivized to price in late-breaking developments—injuries, lineup changes, or weather conditions. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees value that conventional wisdom may have missed, making prediction markets a useful cross-check against published expert predictions.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where buyers and sellers trade contracts tied to the second-half spread outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders submit bids and asks, and the market price reflects the equilibrium between supply and demand at any given moment. Each contract represents a specific prediction about the margin, and the price you see is the probability implied by the last matched trade. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, the order book updates in real time, allowing you to enter or exit positions at transparent, market-determined rates.
This market resolves around Jun 20, 2026, once the Scotland vs Morocco match concludes and the second-half scoring margin is finalized. The outcome will be confirmed against credible public sources reporting the official final score and second-half statistics. Resolution hinges on the verified difference in goals or points scored during the second half only, independent of the first-half result. Once the match is complete and the data is publicly available, the platform will settle all positions based on which outcome bracket the actual spread falls into.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before the match begins. Team news—injuries to key players, lineup announcements, or tactical changes—often triggers sharp repricing. Weather conditions at the venue may affect playing style and scoring patterns. Pre-match commentary from coaches or unexpected roster updates can sway trader sentiment. Closer to kickoff, betting patterns from other markets and social media momentum sometimes create volatility. During the first half itself, the actual scoreline and flow of play will heavily influence expectations for the second-half spread, potentially causing dramatic swings as traders adjust their positions based on live match dynamics.
