However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders betting their own capital. For exact-score markets like this one, sportsbooks typically offer tighter odds on the most likely outcomes, whereas prediction markets may price in tail scenarios differently based on trader conviction. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest and where contrarian opportunities may exist.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time odds for each exact scoreline. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares corresponding to specific outcomes—for example, a 2–3 final score—and the price of each share reflects the collective probability assigned by the market. As volume flows into certain outcomes, their prices adjust upward; less-favored scorelines trade at lower prices. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures that the odds always reflect the latest information and trader sentiment.
This market resolves around Aug 2, 2026, once the Santos FC vs. Clube do Remo match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regulation time. All shares corresponding to the correct final score become winners, while all other exact-score outcomes expire worthless. Traders holding the winning outcome receive their payout based on the odds at which they entered their position.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before and during the match. Team news—such as injuries, suspensions, or lineup announcements—often triggers repricing as traders reassess each side's scoring potential. Betting trends and sharp money flowing into particular scorelines can also move prices. Once the match begins, live action drives volatility: early goals, red cards, or momentum swings cause traders to adjust their positions. Public sentiment, media narratives, and historical head-to-head patterns may influence longer-term positioning as well. Real-time score updates during the match typically produce the sharpest price movements.
