The markets resolve based on whether Sanfrecce Hiroshima, Kawasaki Frontale, or neither team scores first within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time.
In the upcoming match between Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Kawasaki Frontale, scheduled for August 22, 2026 at 6:15 AM ET: This market will resolve to "Sanfrecce Hiroshima" if Sanfrecce Hiroshima are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. This market will resolve to "Kawasaki Frontale" if Kawasaki Frontale are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
All markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams in the Tokyo V vs Frontale professional Japan J1 League soccer game originally scheduled for August 9, 2026, after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty kicks are excluded from goal counts. A market resolves to 'Yes' if the total goals exceed the specified threshold (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, or 5.5). The thresholds represent incremental goal totals that must be surpassed for the market to settle positively. All markets share the same underlying game and time constraints, with each threshold defining a distinct outcome.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. The prices on Polymarket and Kalshi can vary because each platform attracts different user bases and has distinct liquidity profiles. For example, one venue might see heavier participation from regional fans, skewing its odds toward a particular team. Additionally, differing trading volumes and market design features — such as fee structures or order types — influence how prices adjust. These factors combined often create temporary or sustained price gaps in this market across venues.
