The event resolves based on the final score of the Hiroshima vs Nagoya professional Japan J1 League soccer match scheduled for September 2, 2026, after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Four distinct outcome thresholds are evaluated: Hiroshima winning by more than 2.5 goals, Hiroshima winning by more than 1.5 goals, Nagoya winning by more than 1.5 goals, and Nagoya winning by more than 2.5 goals. If any of these conditions are met, the corresponding market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Extra time and penalty phases are excluded from the calculation. The event operates independently of official league affiliations, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Price differences between Polymarket and Kalshi often stem from variations in user bases, liquidity, and trading mechanics. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one platform might attract more local fans, skewing its odds toward a favored team. Additionally, differing fee structures or order types can influence how quickly prices adjust to new information. These factors combined often create temporary gaps until market consensus catches up.
