In the upcoming MLS game between San Jose Earthquakes and Orlando City SC, scheduled for July 22, 2026 at 10:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the San Jose Earthquakes vs. Orlando City SC match originally scheduled for July 22, 2026 at 10:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Resolution is based on the final goal differential in the San Jose vs Orlando professional MLS soccer game originally scheduled for July 22, 2026, measured after 90 minutes plus stoppage time (excluding extra time or penalties). Separate markets track whether San Jose wins by more than 1.5 or 2.5 goals, or whether Orlando wins by more than 1.5 or 2.5 goals, each resolving to Yes if the specified condition is met.
Prediction markets and sportsbooks price outcomes differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs directly—there is no house edge. This often means prediction markets reflect sharper, less-biased probability estimates, especially on niche outcomes like exact scores where sportsbook liquidity is thin. However, sportsbooks may offer tighter spreads on mainstream bets due to higher volume. Comparing this market's odds across both venues and against your preferred sportsbook can reveal value opportunities and help you spot mispriced outcomes.
Team news—injuries, lineup changes, or tactical shifts—can dramatically reprrice exact score odds, since missing key players alters expected goal output. Weather conditions and venue factors also influence scoring patterns. Betting syndicates and sharp money flowing into one outcome can trigger cascading price moves across both platforms. Public sentiment and media narratives sometimes drive retail traders in one direction, creating temporary mispricings. As match day nears, final team sheets and pre-game commentary will sharpen predictions. Monitor social media, official team announcements, and this market's price action to stay ahead of consensus shifts and spot value before the whistle blows.
