This market determines which team leads after the first five innings of the San Francisco vs Miami baseball game. If the teams are tied after five innings, the tie outcome wins while all team outcomes lose.
Resolution is based on which team has the higher score at the end of the first 5 innings of the San Francisco vs Miami professional baseball game originally scheduled for Jun 20, 2026 at 4:10 PM EDT. If the score is tied after 5 innings, the Tie outcome resolves to Yes and all team outcomes resolve to No. If the game is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled game finishes within two days.
Prediction market odds on Kalshi often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader sentiment rather than a fixed bookmaker's margin. Sportsbooks adjust odds to balance action and lock in profit; prediction markets aggregate the collective belief of participants who have financial skin in the game. For this market, comparing Kalshi odds to major sportsbook lines can reveal where sharp money disagrees with public perception. Prediction markets tend to be more efficient at pricing niche outcomes—like first five innings results—because traders can specialize in specific game segments without the overhead sportsbooks carry. Tracking both can help you spot value or confirm consensus.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each possible outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the equilibrium between buyers and sellers; as new information emerges—injury reports, weather updates, or momentum shifts—traders adjust their orders, and the price moves accordingly. You can enter limit or market orders to buy or sell shares at your preferred price or at the current best available rate. The platform charges no commission on trades, so the full spread between bid and ask represents pure liquidity friction. This continuous pricing model means odds can shift rapidly in the hours before the game starts.
This market resolves around Jun 20, 2026, once the first five innings of the San Francisco versus Miami game are complete and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official final score through five innings as recorded by Major League Baseball. No partial innings or extra plays are counted; the market settles strictly on what happens through the end of the fifth inning. After the game concludes and the official result is confirmed, Kalshi will mark the winning outcome and distribute winnings to holders of the correct shares.
Several catalysts can shift odds in this market before first pitch. Lineup announcements—especially the absence of a star hitter or the return of an injured player—often trigger sharp moves. Pitching changes or bullpen news can significantly alter expectations for early-game scoring. Weather conditions, particularly wind direction and temperature, influence ball carry and run-scoring potential. Recent team form, head-to-head matchups in the first five innings specifically, and Vegas totals for the full game all inform trader positioning. Breaking injury reports or last-minute roster decisions in the hours before game time can create sudden repricing. Monitoring sports news and team social media in the lead-up helps you anticipate moves and time your trades strategically.
