Prediction market odds reflect real-money commitments from traders and often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because markets incorporate live information, betting patterns, and collective intelligence. While sports analysts may rely on historical statistics and team metrics, this market aggregates the views of many participants actively trading on outcomes. Comparing the odds here to published expert predictions can reveal where the crowd sees value or where consensus differs, making it a useful cross-check for your own assessment of the matchup.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices move based on supply and demand; as more traders back one outcome, its price rises, and the competing outcome's price falls. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the latest information and sentiment. You can enter limit or market orders to trade at your preferred price point, and the spread between bid and ask prices indicates the current liquidity and conviction among participants.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, once the first 7 innings of the game are complete and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official game record for that specific timeframe. Until that point, prices will fluctuate as new information emerges—such as injury reports, lineup changes, or live game developments—that could influence how traders expect the early innings to unfold.
Several catalysts could shift prices significantly before resolution. Roster announcements, starting pitcher confirmations, or late-breaking injuries to key players will likely trigger sharp moves. Weather conditions at the stadium, betting line movements from sportsbooks, and pregame commentary from analysts can also influence trader positioning. Once the game begins, each inning's developments—runs scored, momentum swings, and pitching changes—will drive continuous repricing. Monitor sports news and team updates closely to stay ahead of market movements.
