The market resolves based on the number of runs scored by each team specifically during the 3rd inning of the San Diego vs Cincinnati professional baseball game scheduled for August 31, 2026. If San Diego scores more runs in that inning, the 'San Diego wins 3rd inning' market resolves to Yes. If Cincinnati scores more runs, the 'Cincinnati wins 3rd inning' market resolves to Yes. If both teams score the same number of runs, or if neither team scores any runs, the 'Tie 3rd inning' market resolves to Yes. Should the game be called before the completion of the 3rd inning, all markets will resolve to a Fair Price. Only runs scored during the 3rd inning are considered for resolution, and Kalshi clarifies it has no official affiliation with the governing league.
