Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert opinions, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own research and insights. This can lead to discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to breaking news or unexpected developments than sportsbooks, potentially offering more accurate probabilities as the event approaches. The difference can vary significantly depending on the event and the information available.
