If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly favors a particular outcome. If a large number of people believe an exact score is likely, the odds on Polymarket may shorten more aggressively than at a sportsbook. However, it's also possible for sportsbooks to have sharper lines in certain cases, depending on their modeling and expertise.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous exchange mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s assessment of the probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy into a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price and decreases the probability. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the latest information and collective beliefs of participants. The current volume suggests significant interest in several potential outcomes.
This market resolves around Sep 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Saint-Martin vs. US Virgin Islands match will be used to determine the winning share(s). Any disputes regarding the official result will be addressed based on widely accepted sources of sports data. Traders should monitor official channels for updates as the event approaches and be prepared for a timely resolution based on the verified final score.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or unexpected weather conditions could all impact the perceived probability of different exact scores. Major upsets in other matches involving these teams could also affect sentiment. Furthermore, significant trading volume from informed participants, or even large media coverage focusing on a particular aspect of the match, could trigger price movements. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for understanding how this market evolves leading up to Sep 26, 2026.
